Mulambin is a growing community that adjoins the Northern side of the Causeway Lake. Along the beach front are a mixture of older beach shacks and quality homes, however hidden behind is a modern estate, one offering quality homes on larger blocks, the other more standard block sizes.
Mulambin Beach is cradled against Bluff Point at the Northern end and Pinnacle Point to the South, both of which are part of the Capricorn Coast National Park. The beach backs a 10m high casuarina-covered foredune and the main road with a caravan park and camping reserve between the road and the beach.
As with Kinka Beach, Mulambin has low waves, low gradient, fine sand, waves spilling across a wide shallow surf at low tide, and has moderate steep beach at high tide, along with beach access via car.
