Identification before property transactions
Real estate agencies have a responsibility to check the true ownership details of a property and that the seller has authority to sell before an agent can list it for sale, auction or lease. This is due to identity fraud increasing and to protect home owners. Agents are now required to view seller's 100 points of Identification;
· Birth Certificate 70 points
· Drivers license 40 Points
