PEXA (Property Exchange Australia) will be mandatory in QLD from the 20^th February 2023 meaning that property documents and transactions will need to be digitally prepared, signed, settled and lodged via an Electronic Lodgement Network (ELN) by a subscriber e g. a Solicitor/ Conveyancer unless exempted. PEXA is an online property transaction system that aims to provide a fast, streamlined process to complete property exchange. It is more important than ever to engage a solicitor to ensure understanding of documents, clauses in a contracts and correct searches are conducted. Errors or misunderstandings relating to property sales and contracts can be expensive ending in unnecessary litigation and losses.
